Treatment Overview
Acne needs more than a spot cream. Our acne treatment pairs in‑office care, HydraFacial™ extractions, chemical peels and LED light, with physician‑directed prescription skincare where warranted, to clear active breakouts and stop new ones.
Once the skin is calm, microneedling and PRP repair the marks and scars acne leaves behind, so the plan covers the whole journey.
How to Prepare
- Book a consultation if you have sensitive skin or a skin condition
- Stop retinoids and exfoliating acids three days before
- Arrive with clean skin and no makeup if possible
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for a week beforehand
What to Expect
- A skin assessment and, if needed, a consultation with Dr. Iskander
- Monthly in‑office treatments to clear congestion and calm inflammation
- A simple prescription or medical‑grade home routine
- Clearer skin within six to eight weeks and a scar‑repair plan once breakouts settle
Aftercare
- Keep skin moisturized and avoid harsh products for 48 hours
- Wear mineral SPF daily
- Skip heavy exercise, saunas and hot yoga for the rest of the day
- Wait 48 hours before retinoids or exfoliants
