Treatment Overview

Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, uses the FDA‑cleared Exceed device by Candela to create thousands of controlled micro‑channels in the skin. The body responds by producing fresh collagen and elastin, which smooths texture, softens fine lines and fades acne scarring over the following weeks.

We treat the face, the face and neck together, and stretch marks on the body. A series of three to six sessions spaced four weeks apart produces the best results, and adding platelet‑rich plasma turns the treatment into our PRP Facial.

How to Prepare

• Stop retinoids, acids and blood‑thinning supplements one week before
• Avoid sun exposure and tanning for two weeks
• Let us know about cold sores; we can prescribe prevention
• Arrive with clean skin; numbing is applied on arrival

What to Expect

• Numbing cream for 20 to 30 minutes so the treatment is comfortable
• Several passes with the Exceed device; skin feels warm and looks flushed
• A soothing serum and SPF to finish
• Redness like a mild sunburn for a day or two, then progressive smoothing over four to six weeks

Aftercare

• Use only the gentle cleanser and serum we provide for 48 hours
• No makeup for 24 hours
• Avoid sun, heat and sweat for 72 hours
