Treatment Overview

Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid filler within hours. We use it to correct overfilled or migrated filler from elsewhere, to reset before a fresh plan, or, rarely, to treat a complication.

Sadiya Naseem uses ultrasound to see exactly where old filler sits before dissolving it, so only what needs to go is treated.

How to Prepare

• Avoid blood thinners such as aspirin, ibuprofen and fish oil for a week if medically safe
• Skip alcohol for 24 hours to reduce bruising
• Arrive without makeup on the treatment area
• Tell us about any upcoming events or dental work

What to Expect

• An ultrasound assessment of existing filler
• Numbing cream, then targeted injections of hyaluronidase
• Swelling for a day or two as the filler breaks down
• A clean slate within a week, with re‑treatment possible after two weeks

Aftercare

• Avoid touching, massaging or pressure on the area for 24 hours
• Stay upright for four hours after neurotoxin
• Skip strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours
• Ice gently if swollen; bruising fades within a week
