Microdermabrasion uses a diamond‑tipped wand and gentle suction to buff away the outermost layer of dead skin, instantly improving brightness, texture and the absorption of skincare.
It is a good option for patients who want a quick refresh with no downtime, and it pairs well with a hydrating mask or LED light.
How to Prepare
- Book a consultation if you have sensitive skin or a skin condition
- Stop retinoids and exfoliating acids three days before
- Arrive with clean skin and no makeup if possible
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for a week beforehand
What to Expect
- Cleansing and skin prep
- Passes with the diamond wand and light suction
- Mild pinkness for an hour
- Brighter, smoother skin the same day
Aftercare
- Keep skin moisturized and avoid harsh products for 48 hours
- Wear mineral SPF daily
- Skip heavy exercise, saunas and hot yoga for the rest of the day
