Dermaplaning is a manual exfoliation that uses a sterile surgical blade to lift away dead skin cells and fine vellus hair from the surface of the face. The result is skin that feels immediately smoother, reflects light better and absorbs skincare more effectively.

How to Prepare
- Book a consultation if you have sensitive skin or a skin condition
- Stop retinoids and exfoliating acids three days before
- Arrive with clean skin and no makeup if possible
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for a week beforehand

- Thorough cleansing and prep of the skin
- Gentle strokes with a sterile blade across the face, which feels like light scratching
- A hydrating mask to calm and replenish

Aftercare
- Keep skin moisturized and avoid harsh products for 48 hours
