Treatment Overview

Lip filler uses hyaluronic acid, a substance the body already makes, to hydrate, define and shape the lips. From a subtle half‑syringe for first‑timers to a full enhancement or the Russian technique for a defined, lifted shape with no outward projection, we tailor the plan to your anatomy and taste.

Sadiya Naseem maps the lip vessels with ultrasound before injecting, a safety step that is rare outside academic centres. Results are immediate and last nine to twelve months.

How to Prepare

• Avoid blood thinners such as aspirin, ibuprofen and fish oil for a week if medically safe
• Skip alcohol for 24 hours to reduce bruising
• Arrive without makeup on the treatment area
• Tell us about any upcoming events or dental work

What to Expect

• Numbing cream for 15 to 20 minutes
• Precise placement with needle or cannula, guided by your goals
• Swelling for a day or two, occasionally a small bruise
• Your final shape once swelling settles, at about two weeks

Aftercare

• Avoid touching, massaging or pressure on the area for 24 hours
• Stay upright for four hours after neurotoxin
• Skip strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours
• Ice gently if swollen; bruising fades within a week
